I hardly slept because of the wind so as much out of tiredness haven't traveled.  We are in a very rural part of West Wales near the coast and I've never seen or heard wind like it in the UK. Lots of trees down and power cuts..
I wouldn't be attempting that trip from your neck of the woods pal.

Whereabouts are you Demitri?

Hertfordshire/north london

Had a load of trees falling down temporary  lights fallen.

Burst pipes causing flooding as well. Not good at all

Stay safe friends and foes today and wrap up.

I'm off to London for a Christmas piss-up. I wouldn't fancy going to VP.

Are the trains ok in brum? If they are not operating  they may as well call the game off as not many fans will be able to get there

Snow Hill line is OK. Well, no worse than usual.

The Chiltern trains look to be largely running OK.

Is there any way of finding out before traveling?

Probably depends how far you have to travel.
In Liverpools case 90% probably travel 200 + miles.

Cross city lines seem to be running still, but with delays. Not looking forward to setting off. The wuss in me is hoping for the game to be called off!

The intrepid explorer in me desperately hopes the game goes ahead.
It’ll be fun to be out in ‘unusual’ conditions (for us) and should make for  a game that will be a little out of the norm.

We shouldn’t be protected from absolutely everything.
Of course, individuals will make their own decisions based on distance to travel etc, but in reality, how many of us are going to be ‘in danger’ travelling to and from the game ?

From memory I don't see why you can't do both. ;)

It was an Everton home game.

The 12:30 Leeds home game is going ahead so I don't see our game being called off . Be interesting to see the crowd numbers

My daughter got cross city line into brum this morning for work and it was running a couple of mins late, which is par for the course without the storm. Just looked online, running to time at the moment. Id say if they were going to call it, it will be in the next hour, although wind mph is supposed to stay about the same for k/o I think. With trains & buses running, i reckon itll be on.

Less than 20 miles between Everton and Wigan. Both have a 12:30 kick off time.
The Wigan game is still on (as at 45 mins before KO )
