Cant remember  the last time we beat chelsea in a cup competition.  Would like to avoid them for now

I think it was the League Cup game at Villa Park where Angel scored a great goal and Joe Cole scored for them.

Thanks Richard  you have  a great memory.  I just googled  it. It was 2003 in league cup quarters we won 2-1 with angel and mccann scoring.

Remember this one after googling it. Since then we have lost every time in the cup when we have played.

Night game. Cold. Stood on the Holte directly in line with Cudicini's(?) left hand post at the North Stand, which Angel proceeded to bend the ball outside and then in.
