It seems an odd game to pick. Fewer tickets for Villa fans, plenty of season ticket holders displaced, a competition we normally play a weakened side for, then add in an unfortunate kick-off time change and it becomes unsatisfactory for many.

It potentially gives opportunity for others, but there seems more downside than up.
Agreed. Very strange choice.

I see we are selling a peice of the net that Duran scored in vs Bayern Munich for £60 and it's sold out. I rest my case we have some proper gullible idiots in our fanbase, whatever next £100 for some magic beans

Perfect Christmas present. For many it was their first taste of the big European competition, and definitely worth it as a price of memorabilia.

I definitely would have got one if it hadn't sold out within an hour, a special occasion that happened to be on my birthday, something that will live long in my memory for years

I might be wrong but I thought I saw something about a special 150 celebration kit being worn in the FA cup.

West Ham now 8 points clear of relegation Zone and with a big following for the game are likely to put their best team out.
Doubt if we will.

Not exactly shifting the tickets are we? Be like a home game for West Ham. One where they don't need binoculars

Just had an email from the club thanking me for being a loyal season ticket holder. It says 'Your season ticket holder gift which celebrates our 150th anniversary year will be delivered by the end of January, shortly after the anniversary match against West Ham United.'

Am I being cynical in thinking that I won't get my gift if I don't go to the game???
