Who was the ex-Villan who crocked another in Chelsea colours, Dorigo on Elliott ? And what was number one at the time? I'll give a random guess of Chesney Hawkes.
Dean Saunders I think. Almost went to court . Horrific challenge

He didn't play for Villa when he made the challenge but he did when it went to court
Saunders was playing for Liverpool at the time not that it has anything to do with the question asked.

Emery has mentioned having best players available for this, or words to that effect. Not sure if Onana passes his fitness test, if he does I think he’ll be on the bench.

I think the team will be

Martinez
Cash
Konsa
Torres
Digne
Kamara
Tielemans
Rogers
Watkins
McGinn
Bailey

Elliott v Saunders and Liverpool Football Club did go to court. Elliott lost because the Judge found that Saunders was trying to play the ball.

I fear a real pasting today which is the old pessimism creeping back. For two years I’ve felt we could beat anyone but I just can’t see it today. 1-3

I seem to remember it that both players were launching into the ball but Elliot got there first, and thus Saunders hit him and not the ball.

Can’t see anything other than a sound beating here today sadly. Hope I’m wrong.

I'd take 1-3. Though I'd prefer a clean sheet.

At the time of the injury it was The Shamen. At the time of the court case it was Wet Wet Wet.
As an aside and with the Cup draw later, Lonnie Donegan when we last won it.

Was it not VAR'd by the dickheads at Stockley Park?

Always hoping for the best but our current inability to win games has sucked the joy and optimism out of match days. 3-1 Chelsea.

It's damp and murky, but not cold.

I fancy us for a score draw. 1-1 or 2-2. Ollie to be on the scoresheet and big Emi showing everyone why he's the best in the business.

If we get anything on this, based on recent form, we’ll have done well.
