Performance been ok giving the circumstances. This is how Liverpool play - very solid at the back and pacy attacks. We where set up to play our usual style and not to fit or hinder their style. We didnt really threath their goal much and they where always going to score a couple on the breaks with Salah involved. Carlos was good and has been lately IMO unlucky with their last but not at fault for the loss IMO.

We are a mid-table side now for sure

7th/8th is not mid table.

Bit of arrogance creeping into this site and elsewhere if we're just writing off seasons now when we drop out of top 4.

We will win games playing like this in the next month so have some faith. The less two years have surely earnt that?

If Spurs and Newcastle win their game in hand tomorrow we’ll he 10th. It’s not remotely good enough, we’ve been dire for weeks.

We weren't dire tonight.

Yes but its still 1 win 7. That is simply not good enough

Just not good enough when it really mattered.

May sound like sour grapes but it feels like we have played them and the ref tonight.
Have you ever seen us play at Anfield before?
Yes but this is far more blatant than usual.

They really shouldnt be here but stuck with them. I honestly think even having two left sided cbs in mongs and pau would be better than carlos. The guys just shite

Can you seriously not just take 10 seconds more when you write your post so you don't sound so offensive?

Do you care that little about how awful it makes you come across?

Not much luck and a truly awful ref. Why do our var checks take seconds compared to others?

Maatsen needs to start for me

Absolutely, he's a classy player and I'm not convinced Digne contributes more especially going forward.

Coote is easily my most disliked ref of the current crop. As mentioned above, it may sound like sour grapes, but he seems to actually be biased against us. Not just tonight, every time he refs one of our games.
