Anyone in Ghent on Sunday fancy meeting to watch it?

A niche buy noble request.

Didn't we once have a goalie called Matthew Ghent? I wonder if he ever got to go to his homeland.

Well I wasn't expecting that. What a twat.

Not sure Meatball or Onana make in our best team.

At least once a season this talk about McGinn comes up, the team has moved on etc. for starters, who replaces him in the team now? Bailey is performing as badly now as he ever did under Smith/Gerrard. Philogene has been miles off it so far. McGinn hasn't been at his best this season but he suffers by being moved all over midfield. Get him back on that right side where he has played his best football for us, we will see a better player. Combines well with Cash too.

He's a much better footballer than given credit for. I recall some outstanding performances by him at Spurs before, wouldn't be surprised to see another one.

Got an uneasy feeling about today, think we might get a bit of a shock.

That uneasy feeling today might be about something other than Villa.

We could do with a good win here after last seasons disastrous game.

Didn’t we beat them 2-1?

He probably means the 4-0 at villa park which was a complete disaster

Lost the battle but won the war

Well said mate

I think the biggest shock today would be managing to win, lose or draw.

haha

This is such a tough one to predict. I see goals but no idea which way it'll go.

For me it's a must-not-lose type game.

I'm gonna go with 2-2. Which would be a decent result.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was 4-1 to them 4-1 to us either. (I think I've covered all bases Get your bets on. )

The ever-supportive Mercury plastered the area around Villa Park with "EX-VILLA STAR JAILED" boards.

The more I think about this one today, the more I wonder whether Unai will try and out power their midfield, I just wonder whether he could bring Kamara back in alongside Onana, with Tielemans pushing further forward and then McGinn or Ramsey on the left, possibly Ramsey as McGinn played on Wednesday, with Rogers and Watkins up top.

Probably miles off what will actually happen.

They aren't shite but VDV is a big miss for them and whoever comes in for him won't be at his level.

But then I didn't expect the 135 year old Johnny fucking Evans to play like Maldini against us either.

Spurs at home are very strong this will be very difficult. We’ll need to maintain our top level for most of the game if we’re going to win.

Just to put into context spurs have won all their home games this season. 100% record so this isnt going to be a walk in the park.  Would love to be the first team that beats them at home this season

IF we defend properly and are clinical with our chances we win. That's a massive IF though .
