Thought Barkley might play, unless Onana is injured for the weekend.

On the BBC, the Live Text is against Preston for some reason. At least Amfy will be happy.

Big game for leon. Palace gone veey strong which is suprising.  They must feel there is a opportunity here for them

The way their season is going they need a win anywhere they can get it.

As that is basically the reserves, it’s still more than decent.
We could really win this cup.

I'm not sure about reserves.

Thought McGinn might play, he's had a little more rest having been injured, plus we will need a leader out there.
Mings?

Mings what?  He hasn't played in 15 months.
He didn't injure his mouth.

It will be interesting with Mings as he barely got chance to play the high line competitively before his injury.

Can’t believe he’s throwing it away. I have just parked up and feel like driving back home. Unbelievable selection. Emery just does not rate domestic cups.

Lovely to see Ty play. I think we might get rolled here, but bloody strong second string.

Given Palace’s selection in last round, absolutely no surprise that they’re strong tonight. Will be tough for us tonight

We've started stronger and the bench is weaker than I thought. Not sure how that bench can rescue anything if needed. It looks like we've gone with the thought that Palace would go weak, that we would get it won early and then allow the kids a bit of first team game time. That hasn't happened
