I reckon you work out what the team for the Spurs game is then flip it.

So, for Spurs game -
Martinez, Konsa, Carlos, Pau, Digne, McGinn, Onana, Tielemans, Ramsey, Watkins, Rogers

For the Palace game -
Olsen, Cash, Bogarde, Mings, Maatsen, Bailey, Kamara, Barkley, Philogene, Duran, Buendia

Agreed, think it will be mostly along those lines. I'd be surprised if Mings starts against Palace though, be nice to see him get on at some stage for some minutes, he still seems a bit behind Kamara on being match fit.

Emery could Chuck his son in goal for this.

Looking at the ties, Liverpool, Chelsea and C115y all have tough away ties and could all feasilbly go out . Which if we beat Palace would leave us favourites

Even if that happened, we'd be unlikely to be favourites with Arsenal, Tottenham and Man U still in it. Obviously would depend on the draw.

yep the draw is key if we get through
Chelsea or Man Utd away and it goes the way it always goes i'm afraid to say (yeah i know thats the spirit)

Going to this one, so really looking forward to it. I'd love a Buendia hattrick, but would settle for a dodgy, controVARcial own-goal to take us though.

Growing up in the 90s, I have a strong affinity for the League Cup - I think Villa are intrinsically linked to it. So it's really about time we won it again.

We better win this again before Keir bans it.
