Agree but how could the club continue to justify the costs and wages for Onana and Barkley without falling foul of PSR?

None of us are in possession all of the necessary information, but there are positives to our possible PSR position as well as negatives. Turnover has probably exceeded £300m this season. We’ve made money on Philogene. We’ve got Carlos off the wage bill. And if all else fails, we’ve got til June 30th to cash in on one or two of many major pure-profit assets if we’re in any danger of not complying. Go for it I say.

We're crying out for that 3 back together. Barkley was looking good before injury, but he would be an ideal rotation with Kamara and Dougie. Kamara needs a bit of rotation too.

We need a centre half this week, and for me a midfielder.

Couldn't we just get Barrenechea back from his loan if we need bolstering in central midfield?

Presumably because we can’t?

Or don't want to for the sake of a couple of weeks.

Looks like Milan Škriniar is joining Diego Carlos at Fenerbahçe. https://x.com/yagosabuncuoglu/status/1882019098424648089

Brentford is signing the verty highly right-back Michael Kayode from Fiorintina whom we were linked to in the Summer. Option to buy only13.5 Million. Another great bit of business from the Bees.

Just read that Loic Bade we are trying to sign is not too keen on joining us.

Maybe Monchi and co are looking elsewhere.

Although having written all the above by tonight he will have signed for us!!!

Wilf Zaha competes his move to Charlotte. Delighted that Deano can finally manage some decent talent. He'll be used to overseeing a one-man team too eh? Go on Jack, go somewhere where you run the show again.

If my time playing Football Manager has taught me anything it depends if they paid a loan fee or not.

No. I was making a presumption. It’s often the case that a club won’t allow a recall clause to be put into a loan.

But as Drummond also mentioned, it could also be because we don’t want to get him back for two games, then he’s in the reserves once players return.

First West Ham, now Chelsea.
Both wanted Duran throughout the summer.
And both are chasing him again this winter window with more talk of reported bids and discussions.
What is happening here?

A release clause must be included in Duran new contract you suspect, and someone affiliated with Duran is putting out feelers.

If Duran is not stirring things himself, then advisors are.
He still hasn't played 90 minutes this season. And isn't starting matches.

These 2 London clubs have expressed interest in Duran as a striker. I don't see a move till the summer, but there is no smoke without fire.

Gallagher for Duran would have been a fair move during the summer 24 window. If something comes up within this window, say a Villa swap in Felix or Jackson (who played under Emery) I'm not averse if the money is right and a deal is fair.

The West Ham bid and Chelsea talk does seem to suggest something though?

Let's await to see further developments.

Felix is a busted flush and Gallagher is fucking crap. Other than that, I fully concur.
