🚨🧨 RB Leipzig have an option to buy Kosta Nedeljkovic at the end of his loan — €10.5m + €4.5m in add-ons.
@philipphinze24

With option to buy?? What a pointless signing  if we selling at that price should Leizpig  take the option up.  Unai dont rate him

The price we paid it was a punt…you’d probs say the same with Rogers that’s worked ok :-)

Get your money back and move on

Im surprised  though. I think kosta looks like he has massive potential. Hasnt really been given a chance in my opinion

I would agree but it could be attitude one something that he’s not doing for Unai

This bit: "Watkins, Rashford, Asensio, Morgan Rogers, Donyell Malen. At least two of them will not play regularly" in particular is nonsense, isn't it? I would think that all of those will feature in every match that they're available for. Especially for a team that, as everyone keeps pointing out, has really struggled to manage fitness/focus this season when juggling the Champions League.

Just feels unnecessarily negative. The press all season has been talking about how we'll struggle to juggle Champions League with the domestic competitions, and as soon as we start to build a squad to address that, they say "what are they doing? They've got too many players!".

I hope that all of the expectation that things will go wrong for us will help us develop a bit of spiky, robust attitude. We got bullied in the match last night, not for the first time. Rashford is used to putting up with this nonsense, I hope it rubs off on some of the others and we're not pushed around so easily. FTF.

It is an interesting point about Asensio though. From his Wiki page, it looks like he's made around 200 senior club appearances. For a 29 year old, that seems a bit under-cooked. Motivation, fitness, discipline all come under question.

Nah, Madrid had better players ahead of him. No shame in that.

High risk signing , at least it's nothing permanent . Same applies to Rashford .

Was about to say that was an awful article with an agenda…tho it is from that rag so to be expected
Not awful at all and almost near the knuckle. You can’t have a long term strategy and then throw it away when some clubs want to offload their burden. I doubt if we were planning to sign Rashford and Asensio this time last month.

No more of a risk than playing Buendia or Philogene for rest of the season.

I dont think it is high risk - it might not work - but any signing is
The risk it it disrupts the squad cohesion, and once that happens it’s broken glass.

High risk in the sense neither have been playing regularly for ages , are both on huge salaries and there are questions around how motivated they will be . Hopefully it works out but it's definitely a high risk move .

Would it be a shock the other way if Rashford joins us and suddenly is rejuvenated now that he’s gone from that bullshit? Could have the opposite result and galvanize the squad.

If the athletic  report is true that we havent ruled out not signing a cb then serious questions need to be asked on monchi and vidagamy. They ahve had a wholw month to find someone and it would be criminal going into the next four months with no player bought in.

Yes we shouldnt panic buy but bloody hell we are not gojng to qualify for CL this season without one as we leak so many goals
