An attacking player scoring or assisting is always a very distinct possibility.

Not when it's Adama Traore it isn't.

While I'm not hugely concerned about Traore, I do wonder whether you might be angering Paddy's footballing Gods a little here with your hubris.

I reckon the Gods of logic and reason, who lets be fair are not having a great time of it of late, are going to see this issue as some sort of tipping point and will be spurred into action, countering those notoriously flaky footballing ones.

No. This is god-baiting of the worst kind because he used to play for us. He's going to play so well that we'll sign him. Well done, you atheist twats!

Martinez

Cash
Konsa
Torres
Digne

McGinn
Kamara
Onana
Rogers

Tielemans
Watkins

Gauci, Ian, Carlos, Mings, Barkley, Ramsey, Bailey, Emi, Duran

Nice.....Philogene would be unlucky though

I'm not taking sides, I think we can all agree the gods are all twats, the job kind of calls for it really.

Wouldn't rush Kamara, let's ease him back in. That subs bench with Ned and Philogene added would hold its own in the Premier League.

1-2 to the villa.

Getting excited now. This this will be a cracking game and decided  by which manager picks the best starters and finishers.

We have a fantastic squad now and a genius at the helm.

Come on you Villa boys...big win required

Jhon Duran's formidable goalscoring form off the bench is close to earning him a start: "I am thinking with how he is progressing how important it is for him to start these matches. Maybe tomorrow or maybe in the next games we play."

I think if he wasn't coming back from South America, Durán would be starting. I can see him starting against Bologna.

If only this was one of those brilliant joint match threads where we could discuss such things. I bet they have three matches at once on RAWK, we can't afford to get left behind.

RAWK wouldn't have ended up in cortados vs. pingados.
