Just went to the shop and the guy serving me, he barely usually looks up, asked me if I was going to the game - I had my Villa top on. I said yeah and he looked excited for me. Said he thinks we’ll win 2-1, with goals from Tielemans and Watkins. So there you have it.

I've spent plenty of time waiting for German trains to depart or arrive on time.
On this very date six years ago, an Aston Villa fan decided to vent his frustrations at his side's 3-3 draw with Preston by throwing a cabbage at the then-Villa boss Steve Bruce. After the incident Bruce said that he felt all the decisions he had made during that campaign had been "questioned" by fans and that what he had "witnessed in the stadium was not right"."The guy who is being questioned, unfortunately, it sums up the society we are in at the moment. There's no respect for anyone," said Bruce."I find the whole thing hugely disrespectful."He added: "The one thing I've always had is the determination to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. I'll always have a go."Villa found themselves 12th in the Championship table having won only one of their last nine league games.Six years on, they are tonight preparing for their first Champions League match on home soil since the 1982-83 quarter-finals against Juventus.

They're not what they used to be When i was there - both german and Austrian train services were far superior to ours. We must be a bit of a laughing stock for that to them
Just had a look at the Brum Mail ahead of the match and they really are a shower, awful rag.
