For all his genius, I wish Emery and his staff would get this defence sorted.
If he does we might win the title.

Name a better struck shot than Duran’s goal. Don’t say Savo, Jhon’s is better.

Mcginn vs Sheffield Wednesday

We might win the title but we'll still have to make do with Tom Hanks rather than Tom Brady appearing at our ground. :(

McGinn for me too. The technique to crush it on the volley, in off the woodwork, makes it a better goal. Shame we fucking lost that game though. And another goal not to be forgotten is Duran vs Palace. Some fucking strike that was  also and helped us to go on and win the game.

I always have a soft spot for Staunton scoring against someone in the late 90s at VP. Was a collision between two players which created space and Stan hit it from about 35 yards and it hit the corner of post/bar and went in.

Reminded me of Duran's effort tonight. Overcoaching in modern football means we see hardly any pot shots from long range now so appreciate these strikes when you can.

Proper Irish goal, that (if any Ireland supporters remember what a goal for looks like).

My Dad brought me up to take long-range shots and go in for rough slide tackles, and nothing else.

Another thing beat Everton before 3 2  with a winning goal by someone who played yesterday , I really enjoyed that winner too.

Was he disappointed when you ended up in goal? 🙂. Thinking about it, I can barely name any Irish goal keepers. It's felt like the only GKs Ireland have had in my years watching is just Shay Given and now this Kelleher lad.

Bonner.

I'm off to Google him, only Bonner I know is Mark.

Edit: Don't know him, just before my time. Looking them up I had completely forgotten about Randolph. No idea who David Forde is though and he is my era.

Immensely, but I was only a 'keeper until I was 13 or 14. After that, at 5'10, I wasn't tall enough, so switched to RB.
