Name a better struck shot than Duran’s goal. Don’t say Savo, Jhon’s is better.

Only better struck shot I've ever seen at VP was that Paul Scholes goal against us.

we are dodgy defensively - but we keep pulling this off. Special mention to Barclay who was very assured and tried to keep it ticking. Thielemans MOTM. Digne, Ollie and Panda were great.

Bogarde was ok but offered zero threat.

Great mentality to not let the mistakes affect us too much. Definitely a lack of sharpness across the squad still but really exciting signs there.

Fucking get in! We were not great but man that takes alot of heart to come back like that.

Digne was motm for me.

Positives
Digne & maatsen
Ollie scores to end his duck
Panda scores a worldie
Bogarde did well at rb
Barkley impressive

Negatives
Onana so bad today
JB wasnt good when he came on
Defensively we still look really bad

Lucky we were playing everton today if that was someone else we could have lost that. Get in !!

excellent game for the neutral

goal of the season

sitters missed  , crap defending .  good to see ollie score , thought youri and Barkley was good .

Bogarde was ok to be honest and Luca is looking great .

Little Emi on and did alright .  Rogers just needs to sort out the final bit and he will a top player for us for years .

could have been 8-4

Agree about Morgan. His all round play is excellent, it’s just the final 5% he needs to work on.

I thought 3-2 reflected the game well. It is ridiculous the way commentators are comparing this Everton reverse to H Bournemouth. Total different circumstance regardless of the scoreline. No way should Dyche be booted on the back of today. They'll go clear again eventually.

As for us we have shown we can overcome adversity and atone for errors. Our heads didn't drop at 0-2 like they may have done a few seasons ago

Yeah fair play to everton today they showed a lot of heart. Very unlucky not to get anything today.

I agree on rogers he is excellent but holds onto the ball too long. Needs to pass the ball at times

Result aside, that was not nearly good enough.

We absolutely dominated the entire game. Yes two poor goals conceded but that was the most one sided team performance we’ve seen in ages.

Absolutely.

In the past, Villa have been lowly and beaten superior teams against the run of play.

It’s just part of football.

Was that a blatant push on Torres for their chance? Unbelievable winner from Duran. Balance of the team still looks off.

To lose back to back games from being 2-0 up is crushing.

I thought that was flying over when he hit that. Belter of a goal. Bit dicey at back but midfield and attack very strong, everton time wasting and unambitious for long periods. Happy days.

Different circumstances yes, but if we were 2-0 up two games in a row and lost both, how do you think we'd react?

We have (some) people moaning as it is, after our third win in four games.

Wonderful attitude and spirit to come back from 0-2.  Barkley changed the game alongside Tielemans and they dictated the tempo for the second half.  Cracking finish from Ollie and a thunderfuck of a strike from Duran.  We deserved to win, despite the odd miss pass and poor chance missed here and there.  I do have a worry about Torres not being strong enough for this league.  Nice passer but too many goals conceded.  Morgan Rogers, when the end product gets sharper will be a fantastic player.  Great to see Buendia back and I thought he played a couple of neat balls.  We are a good squad although I was moaning about the lack of pace.  Two or three haven't quite got going yet either, which bodes well.

Villa are some team now. I thought we were excellent throughout. The possession we had is nuts and some of our play was beautiful. I can't wait to see where this story goes. And my word, what an astonishing goal to win it - Emi Martinez had the same reaction as me!

Brilliant to see Buendia back too, I can't wait to see what he can do under this manager.

Never in doubt after going 2-0 down (assume collective distraction of Tuesday's game)!

Great comeback (well done Ollie) and as for Jhon's Gem...!

Welcome back the Other Emi!
