Each to their own, but having built for years and years to get into this competition, why would you mess about with the team.  A few subtle changes, yes.  Maatsen and Kosta I can understand due to CL experience.  Everything else, the same as Saturday.

I think he will go strong. We have eight games to get out of the league stage, and this is one of the more winnable ones. He will want the win.

Plus it's still early in the season, every single player will want to be playing in this match. Are you going to tell Watkins, McGinn, Ramsey, Rogers, and Konsa they're not starting their first Champions League game?

There will be plenty of opportunities to rest and rotate further on, but as Emery and the club value european competition second only to the Prem, I'm expecting few changes.

Same opinion here. Last year he started with weaker players and put us on the back foot for qualifying which meant he had to play stronger starting eleven then he wanted. So get the win out the way early as 10 points should get us into the knock out stages, and this would be a third on the way already. Players can be rotated for the Wycombe match then.

What about starting Duran next to Watkins, and shifting Rogers out to the left of the midfield four. Go at them from the off?

If we are going to make changes it probably should be for munich one as we are likely to lose that one. This one appears more winnable on paper

If we thought three centre backs was a divisive topic....

It's a plastic pitch, isn't it? I thought that shit was banned. Young Boys twinned with Luton and QPR circa 1987 ffs.

Rest JJ for this, I don't want our boy twisting his foot in the turf and being out of action for another fucking season.
