I think we need to put out a strong side tomorrow,  given that this is a game that we could win. We need a good start and no repeat of Legia Warsaw last season. Although they are bottom of the league, they beat Galatasaray home and away and will be certainly targeting us.

Looks like that Irish place on Aarbergergasse has the Noses on later. Be rude not to support the land of my mother in their quest against the Orcs.

It's a plastic pitch, isn't it? I thought that shit was banned. Young Boys twinned with Luton and QPR circa 1987 ffs.

Rest JJ for this, I don't want our boy twisting his foot in the turf and being out of action for another fucking season.
.yippee injuries incoming ffs

Why isnt this banned?

Banned by whom? It's up to the Swiss FA what pitches are suitable.

Or should UEFA ban it? In which case how do you suggest football works in say, Norway or Finland without artificial pitches?
Uefa obviously as we are mot a member of the swiss leagues

So how do you expect Scandinavian football to continue, if this is a full ban across UEFA's whole regulatory jurisdiction?

Do russian clubs play with artificial pitches ?

Some do.

Bodø/Glimt's home ground is inside the Arctic Circle. It feels a bit unrealistic to expect them to maintain a year-round grass pitch, no?

Im not sure,  appreciate weather plays a factor but don't they retractable roofs to help with this?

Assume Martinez will adopt Kiraly jogging bottoms for this game to avoid degloving his legs (assuming he has saves to make)

Or, they could just carry on doing what is right for them rather than a combination of Demitri and UEFA deciding that Things They Don't Like should be banned.

"Whom"?! It's who, Shirley.
They were banned by whom?
The artificial pitches were banned by the FA.

As the numerous H&V English specialists (such as PWS) will tell you, in the above example, which is in the passive voice, the grammatical agent and object of the preposition 'by' is 'the FA'. Therefore, the object pronoun 'whom' is to be used instead of 'who'. Informally, 'who' is acceptable but will tend to point to an education in Bordesley rather than Aston.

A healthy Leon coming off the bench late on with a left foot curler into the roof of the net will be a nice way to end it.

A lot of young lads might have been, just not at school.
