Just watched a replay of the England v Albania and thought Ezri Konsa was brilliant at the back for England. Didn't put a foot wrong and prevented a certain goal for Albania. It helps when he plays in his correct position too.

Funnily enough I just wrote the same of Konsa on his thread! literally! Yes so he once covered Dan Burn who immediately struggled once Albania brought Broja on.
Thought Konsa was assured on the ball and was fine.
Shame it wasn’t Mings next to him.

Bogarde on as a sub for the Dutch U21s and then sent off.

Italy U21 1-2 Netherlands U21
74 mins Bogarde on as a sub
83 mins Bogarde yellow
92 mins Bogarde 2nd yellow and off.

The Dutch had already had a player sent off,, but despite being down to 9 men after Bogey's dismissal they scored the winner in the 94th minute.

Lamare should miss the next game - not unhappy about that.

Oh no . Disappointed for him being sent off.  Hopefully learn from that as he does have a tendency to get booked. I’ve seen him make a few rash challenges for Villa . I do hope the two yellows were justified.

The threshold for a second yellow is usually higher.

Any idea who were the CBs? Hopefully not Romero and Martinez?

Any chance he could carry that form back to us? Ditto Konsa and Mings. They all seem to play well internationally.

Konsa and Mings keep clean sheets for us. They’ve even kept two with Olsen in goal. Granted they tend not to do so well with Cash at RB, as most of them were with Ashley Young there, and Disasi was great there v Brentford.

I love your 'CB-watch', Percy! Seriously, you're keeping us all honest on defence matters.

It would have been 3-0 if he wasn't.

Are we beating up Olsen over this one as well? Isak and Elanga were upfront the useless dorks.
