This England team, definitely the starting XI, remind me a bit of Villa under O'Neill. They rely on counter-attacking and when they come up against a team who can deal with it effectively they struggle to get out of their own half.

After watching that first half you might be right. But Sarina Weigman is a much better coach than Bruce could ever hope to be.

Poor defending for the goal, both in allowing the cross to come in and then allowing the free header.

I can’t see Spain not scoring again and at the moment I don’t see a pattern to England that would allow them to build any pressure. Hemp looks like she can cause some problems on the right but nobody else really looks dangerous going forward.

Hoping Kelly can do something. Mead and Agyemang to come on.
