Sorry but this England v France game is shite and, despite the hype, is exactly the reason why I don't bother to normally watch these games. No doubt I will get battered for daring to make such a controversial comment.

I haven't watched any of the Women's Euros, I've been too busy watching proper tournaments like the Club World Cup and the Poland Darts Masters.

I think Blatimore has been very good too.

Yes, her presence has ensured this game won't go down to the wire.

Can't see this England team getting far playing like this. Pretty poor fare so far.

I think watching the game tonight I realised that the fundamental problem with women’s football for me, is that I really don’t need any further sources of disappointment in my life.

I’m the same with football. I find it really boring without the existential terror of Villa being involved. And I think they’re cnuts most of the time.

‘existential terror’ ?
That’s such a good phrase. I have to very seriously watch my blood pressure and so risk my well-being following Vila in any form.
After watching at Villa my watch told me I had had two hours vigorous exercise!
Watching television? Not much better until we’re about 4-0:which doesn’t happen very often.
Follow on Sky? I’m still living in terror.
Give up caring? Genetically impossible.

Yes, it’s a constant existential terror. Perhaps I need stronger blood pressure tablets …

Nice goal from Joao Pedro gives Chelsea the lead, they’ve been well on top so far.

They've had an incredibly jammy run to the final. Not played a single team from the top six leagues in Europe.

They haven't even had to play Crystal Palace.
