Players to look out for in the River Plate game, Marcos Acuna who we were linked with a few seasons back and Franco Mastantuano who will be moving to Real Madrid later in the summer. No idea when it comes to Urawa.

5-5 now for the U19s now they have sensibly put a Villa player on.

River Plate winning 1-0. Great cross by Acuna.

Been a good game. Urawa with some nice moments but River the better side. 3-1 to River, nearly 3-2 just now. But solid start for them.

Yeah not bad. River Plate knocked it around quite well and played some great long balls, especially first half. Urawa made a game of it in the second and I thought their goal scorer was their best player.

Anyone watching that World Club Cup Infantino abomination needs to take a long, hard look at themselves.

You are a part of the problem (unless you're illegally streaming it, in which case, you're a part of the FIGHT BACK).

It’s on DAZN for free.  Not that I’m bothering to watch it.

I’m watching it. It’s better than baseball and something to do in my time zone. I’m sure some will say us watching or promoting the PL is part of the problem of English footballs wealth disparity. Or watching and supporting the CL games whether our team is in it or not has created a rather repulsive upper echelon of European football. UEFA aren’t a lot better than FIFA.

To be clear, I don’t like FIFA and certainly the bloke who heads it. The Trump loving, money grabbing ******. But there’s loads of them across all sport and especially football.

Currently playing Ulsan vs Mamelodi Sundowns. Slightly more people in the ground in Orlando than an average Nose game. Probably more than the Chelsea game though.

I read a tweet saying he was brilliant when he came on. And it wasn’t from a Villa fan.

I'm pretty sure those exact sentiments re: the Champions League were pretty common on here until we were in with a shout of qualifying for it.

You can see here the whole match here (for now).

His cross was spilled for the last and he had some good runs. Overall he might have helped overload the defence so we created more as barely any other change was made. I didn't watch after the goals though.

I feel like Villa played Mamelodi Sundowns in the 90s.
