I didn’t even know Bellingham was playing until his disallowed goal around 83 mins.

He’d only been on a short while before.

Piss funny.

I wasn't that bothered about England under Southgate and I'm still not that bothered about England under Tuchel, but I reckon I could enjoy a year or so of the "ANYONE COULD DO WHAT SOUTHGATE DID WITH THE NEW GOLDEN GENERATION,THE BIG FRAUD" types being a bit confused about England reverting to the pre-2018 version.

Although he was playing a friendly with potentially only two starters from his first 11 (Saka and Rice) and in a brand new formation. And Senegal went with their strongest side compared to what they played the weekend. But we did play into their hands massively. Although I do think Keane is right that you wonder if the players are happy with him. Kane seems to be very outspoken compared to anything he was like after matches for Southgate.

Senegal left back looked decent and I believe we’ve been linked with their player who scored the second goal, Habib Diarra

Roy Keane says the same few things no matter what he’s just watched.

(e.g.) Lewis Hamilton, great driver no doubt but I have to question the pit crew there do they want it enough? I’m not seeing it.

As I have mentioned my German friend told me Tuchel is certifiably insane. His selections for these games would suggest that he is correct.

Wow - imagine if he is actually a world class manager.  I can imagine it now in is autobiography - "people said I under achieved - but I had blood Harry Migure in the team - what more could I do".

I imagined Southgate watching that game and having a little smile to himself as he sipped his Ovaltine in his comfy slippers.

But then I remembered Gareth goes to bed at eight thirty, all nestled down in his grey and beige bedroom.

It seemed very important to Senegal. England players were in holiday mode. Only Eze and maybe Gibbs White put in anything like effort. I don’t know what Touchel has brought to the table but that team are far too disjointed.

Tuchel losing as England manager to Senegal was poor but the Pochettino US experience goes from bad to horrific. 4-0 down to Switzerland at home after 36’. They didn’t concede after that but at this rate he might not be manager come the WC.

First ever defeat by an African team, I think.

2012. South Africa won the 3rd test at Lords by 51 runs to take the series 2-1.

Is it too early for the 'Other Games - 2026/27' Thread?
