Fair play to celtic with a fraction if a budget they almost humiliated  bayern

Yeah, it's funny how the "fraction of the budget" argument never gets rolled out when they're steamrollering Kilmarnock or Ross County.
.fair point CD but the gap between PL and scottish league is far superior than that by miles!

Its like comparing our budget  with Oxford  united

Looks soulless and identikit, as remarkable as the Reebok in Bolton when it opened. The location adjacent the river is picturesque but I'd wager there is fuck all around the ground itself.

I know I'm old fashioned and out of step but the club will loose much of it's identity with the move. I recall my first visit to Liverpool (a 1-1 draw, Ian Olney for us). We parked near Stanley Park at the top of the hill, after the match you could see the floodlights of the huge Main Stand at Goodison (I'd yet to visit), shining brightly in the December gloom, must've been a reserve game or some such. Having the two clubs at either end of the park was a great feature, you could drink in the Everton pubs when visiting Anfield and vice versa.

Time moves in I know but Goodison Park holds some special memories for Villa Fans, never mind the Blue Scousers. Shame.

The singularly most amazing continuous half time chant in history.  And I was there.

Celtic will get to go again next season, and the one after and the one after that etc...

Let's hope we do as well.

Brugge are to play either Inter or Arsenal , according to Sky anyway.
Sky haven’t got a clue.
Sky have probably forgotten we’re in it.
To be fair Sky do a far better job of covering UCL outside the live match than TNT who do fuck all other than showing matches.

There's a couple of Celtic fans at work and they were talking about the game after the first leg. Their opinion was that the goal was the get out of the first stage, and then not get embarrassed in the knockout stage. I guess they'll all be happy with that outcome.

I'd rather Celtic had gone through. The more shit teams remaining that we may potentially have to beat on the way to our inevitable winning of the trophy, the better it'll be for my blood pressure.

I've only recently 'acquired' TNT. As far as I can see, they don't maintain live sports news programmes as such.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Rafa Leao play for any extended period. Take it he was uncharacteristically out of form, because he was dreadful.

I've never seen what all the fuss was about, certainly not somebody I would even thinking about Villa signing. He's fast but like Diaby, that's about it. How he's got so many caps I'll never understand.

In tonight's matches, Sporting have obviously decided qualification is for fools. One shot in the first half in a match they need to score early in.
