I'd be interested to see what happened to the Celtic player who went down at the other end, ref was very close to blowing up which would changed the game.

The ball was going that way anyway so trying to wrap his foot the other way would have been awkward and could have resulted in an own goal or it hitting the striker on that side.

It could. Just thinking of other options he had, rather than it resulting in Bayern scoring.

Looking at it again, I don't think the left footed clearance was really 'on'.

Edit: Looked at it again again, and I actually think it may have been. I'll change my mind on every view and settle on the 10th one.
