Glazers are not out the picture though, they just managed to con Ratcliffe into paying them several hundred million for the honour of being in charge of the operational side.
£1.25 Billion I think and Ratcliffe also has to deliver £150M in annual profit for their  75% share.

It seems Ratcliffe Business empire struggling a bit
Business loaning one business to keep another one going.
Reneging on sponsorship deals with the all blacks and some sails guy.
Wants to retrench, according to  the BBC , 200 staff, fuck, how many do they
 employ ?
I thought it was the ground staff the coaching staff and the lady who watched the fax machine, clearly I was wrong.

Everton's U18s played a match at their new stadium tonight as a test event. Small crowd were allowed in. It looks good, I must say.

Looks soulless and identikit, as remarkable as the Reebok in Bolton when it opened. The location adjacent the river is picturesque but I'd wager there is fuck all around the ground itself.

I know I'm old fashioned and out of step but the club will loose much of it's identity with the move. I recall my first visit to Liverpool (a 1-1 draw, Ian Olney for us). We parked near Stanley Park at the top of the hill, after the match you could see the floodlights of the huge Main Stand at Goodison (I'd yet to visit), shining brightly in the December gloom, must've been a reserve game or some such. Having the two clubs at either end of the park was a great feature, you could drink in the Everton pubs when visiting Anfield and vice versa.

Time moves in I know but Goodison Park holds some special memories for Villa Fans, never mind the Blue Scousers. Shame.

His chemicals business which has been the engine and cash cow for all of his other ventures is struggling. The UK chemical industry is being negatively impacted by high energy costs.

Plus his foray into Automotive is not going well and is going to be a costly disposal/closure. At least Dyson had the sense to roll it all up before going into production.
