Romaro and van de ven both pick up injuries again

Thought he'd retired and gone into politics. He was good for Vasco and Barça in his heyday.

I have a Vasco shirt that had his name on the back (until it was put in the washer with fabric conditioner etc) though you can still just about see it...

Unfortunately I think that’s the end of the Ange show.

Perhaps, no plan B. Can hardly blame a manager for those two penalties given away. Idiotic in the extreme. Seems like they failed to move Son on at the right time.

Although he also decided to not start Maddison, and tbh, only went 2-0 up because Cucarella wore his banana boots.

The offside / non-offside would have been interesting though. Yes, players should play to the whistle, but the lino also flagged very early which the Chelsea players took as being called back so stopped, but also informed Bissouma(?) to not touch the ball. I wonder how the Ref / VAR would have interpreted it if scored.

Cucarella is a piece of work isn't he. Chucking away his boots as if it was their fault and not his as a sentient adult.

Given he slipped over twice in the first ten minutes, changed his boots and didn't slip over again doesn't that kind of suggest that his boots did have something to do with it?

I liked the way he kept them on a bit longer and only changed them after the second goal, just to be sure.

Assuming any replacement boots were back in the dressing room, I suspect they had to go and get them, then were waiting for the next stoppage for him to come across the whole pitch to change them. Unfortunately that happened to be the second goal.

think Dragustin looks a decent cb

I think he looks like a villain in a Steven Seagal movie.

I love it when Redfilth lose, i just laugh to myself when Spurs do

I said to a mate at start of season i would bet that Crocodile Dundee would get the sack before Christmas - another few of these and Levey will pull the trigger

Did Spurs water the pitch between warm up and KO? But yes, that would be where he is to blame. I wonder if his agent grimaced over the pic of them thrown in the bin after the match.

It was the way he treated the kit man. He threw the boots in his direction along with a verbal volley clearly blaming said kit man for the wrong boot choice even though it is the players choice once he's been out and had a warm up. A really snide move in front of the watching millions.

They had the boots ready for him to change into, suggesting he didn't just make it up after the event.
