They'll be wanting Fergie back at this rate!

God knows where they’d go if they punted Amorim. Realistically you’d think he’d be given a good portion, if not all of next season.

He won't get that long if the results continue like this , the pressure will become too intense . They'll end up sacking him .

Yeah, I guess so.

Although it's going to be tough, they're short of cash for PSR reasons, and that squad is truly terrible whilst also managing to be fucking expensive.

You'd think one of Zirkzee or Hoilund is going to have to suddenly pay out on their earlier promise and become someone who scores a bundle of goals for them.

Good thing he didn't alienate them both by benching them both in favour of a central midfielder the other week.

He came in once the season had started so that will be an excuse that he’d use plus not enough of his own players. Whether they have the funds to bring the players in that he does want is another matter.
Hopefully this current circus continues for a long time.

Edit. In response to Tim

He seems incapable of adapting to a system that actually suits the players he has. Instead his genius idea was to play Kobbie '3 goals' Mainoo as a striker. Publicly dig at some players and call the rest the worst in their history.

ManU have wasted a lot of money but they aren't, well shouldn't be, 'barely able to avoid relegation form' bad.

At times they did put some good moves together today , Garnacho missed 2 sitters , if they could finish they'd have won that , Spurs were pretty poor overall.

Zirkzee looks pretty good but you struggle to think you would want anyone else , maybe ratface

Don't like him but Fernandez is a top player. Zirkzee decent as in Mainoo. Maguire good CB but he's at the wrong end of his career .

Lose to Everton/fail to beat Ipswich and the pressure will really be on. Look at their run-in, away to Leicester and home to Wolves (and maybe home to West Ham) are the only easyish games they've got left.

Zirkzee is absolute gash. Him and Hoijlund.

It's hard to know if some of them are good players badly coached, or are just inconsistent 1 good game in 3 types. There are times when Dalot, Garnacho, Zirkzee, Mainoo, Martinez as examples look very good at times, and then they'll look like they've never seen a football before.

I’d agree with that but regarding the system he wouldn’t be the first manager / coach to steadfastly refuse to alter his ‘philosophy’ even though it’s clear he hasn’t got the players to implement it. It’s like flogging a dead horse at the moment.
It’s certainly a poisoned chalice as they’ve appointed highly thought of European coaches the last 2 times and got, relative to their expectations, little success. Bit harsh on Amorim as not had much time but it doesn’t look like it’s coming together any time soon.
