he's 33 in june, he'll want a 3 year contract, so little value at the end of that. He's having a good season no doubt but seems a risk to go all in for another contract if you ask me.

Still doesn't explain how Liverpool cash in on him, VD and TTA though as that normally means sell them.

Fair point, perhaps maximise value from their spend ie they wont be good value retentions.

There was no real good reason to group Slot in with the likes of Pep, Arteta etc. for acting an entitled wanker. Up to yesterday really he’d had it pretty good and we saw a decent side of him. But the first sign of any adversity and he demonstrated he’s every bit a wanker as those other two. He’s Klopp. All smiles and cheeky comments when things are going well and a twat when they don’t.
