I've never watched our women's team or seen any of their results but for some reason I thought they were quite decent?

What made you think that? They're dreadful.

They were quite decent the season before last. Despite investment, they've gone backwards since.

Is it the players or the coaching?

Ha yes I realise that now, I don't know, I just had it in my head that they were at least decent.

Oh well, I shan't lose any sleep over it.

I'd say the latter. I think you have Daly, Nunes, Hansen and Nobbs in the team, you should be able to create more than one chance per half.

The women's top flight is very much the SPL, if the SPL had four adequate sides. One of a couple win it year after year and the rest is about who is particularly shite that season. There is, at least, a hope that will change as the pool of better players expands. Until then, below the European places it's as competitive as this season's Scottish League One.

I watched about half an hour of the game today. They were never going to hold out to that lead, it was like a training exercise for Man City. A very tough watch to say the least.

Man United away at 6.45. I'm sure that's just what we need to perk us all up.
