When I Googled her I just assumed she was going to be from some mad place like America. Who names their kid Missy Bo?

Anyway, welcome Missy Bo!

First game of the de Pauw era produces a 1-0 behind closed doors win away to Liverpool.

So, between Villa, Villa under-21, Villa under-18 and Villa Women we are played four, won four for the weekend.

Aston Villa have made a move for Brazil international and Levante forward Gabi Nunes.

They would need to trigger a release clause of 300,000 euros (£250,000) to sign the 27-year-old.

Nunes, who has 22 caps for Brazil, was part of the squad that won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Villa have already made seven signings this summer and are investing heavily following the arrival of new manager Robert de Pauw.

If they were to bring in Nunes, it would be a statement of their intent to challenge the WSL's traditional top four - Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Nunes' arrival at Villa would be a club record fee and would sit up there with some of the biggest transfers in WSL history.

Chelsea's signing of Mayra Ramirez for £384,000 remains the British record, while Jill Roord joined Manchester City for a club record fee in excess of £300,000 in 2023.

Sounds exciting... so long as she is playing as well as Daly, rather than instead of.

Hopefully the planning permission will be given for the new WSL building at Bodymoor and help do it's bit to make us more attractive to prospective players.
