Straight out on loan to a top end Championship team for 6 months would be my guess.

I'll be pissed off if he we loan him to Blose.

Oh, you said Championship... apologies.

We have no idea when JJ and Buendia will be ready for first team football though. Maybe the club do and that's why we're making these moves?

JJ could be ages yet, and I suspect he will be. Buendia was a bit up and down before his injury even, so first he's got to prove he's over the injury, and then that he's good enough to have a chance of a regular game.

Is JJ’s injury that bad?  I thought a metatarsal was a coupe of months so should be back for pre-season.

Well it kept him out virtually all season. It seems like he's had some plate/screw in, that never seems to heal properly.

Isn't it the same injury that's kept him out of the squad most of the season? So it could be properly fixed now, or we could get a repeat of last year.

Well, he’s got a good engine so the sooner he’s back the better.

My memory (unreliable) was that he’d had two failed “quick fixes” so the reason they wrote off the last few months of last season was to remove the plate/screw and allow it to heal properly.  I understood that to mean the risk of the injury reoccurring was significantly reduced.

It's got a bit of the Morgan Rogers about it for me.

You reckon? Their paths have been a bit different.

Entirely possible, and hopefully correct.

JJ is meant to be back at the start of pre-season and Buendia was training on the grass before the end of the season.
