Proper, stupidly quick and now has the composure with it. Has the potential to be the best in his position in the world.

Yep he’s really kicked on. Both left back options are excellent.

Love how we can dovetail both him and Digne - no complaints. they just swap over depending on the team needs at that time

No better pairing in Europe at present

He's really come on leaps and bounds. He's already a baller, I just wish he was a little bit taller.

Thought that was his best game for us. Was superb. Great to see him finally bedded into the team. Also what a great pro Digne has been.

I liked him last season when he was getting a bit of stick, and I think he's much better now. Deservedly being ahead of the first choice left back for arguably the best national team shows how good he is. I can't imagine many clubs in the world have a choice of two better left backs.

Me too, I thought he's been decent from the off, he's exciting and wants to attack. I like that with a full back. This season he has really settled down and we've got ourselves and very good player on the books.

He was  in the Champions League team of the year when we signed him, this form is no surprise.

If Ian had a right foot he would possibly be the best in the world. Unfortunately everything has to go threw his left foot - unfortunately.

Nothing wrong with my right foot. It’s my toe that’s an issue.

Him and Marco out on Broad Street tonight with their birthday badges before heading straight to BHX at 6 in the morning for the chartered flight to Lille.
