While they're buggering around with the fixture list, it really should be alternating years for being home and away on Boxing Day, as far as possible. That's two horrendous away trips in terms of travel two years running.

Nice to see PL helping us in CL weeks by scheduling us mostly away from home those weeks.

West Ham don’t play a league game outside of London until November! Their first 9 games are all in London.

Just saw that. Crazy.

Just tried to plot the cup games into the league fixtures. No official dates/schedule for the domestic cups as yet, so assumed similar to 2023-24 season. Also worth noting after the Wolves game in September the usual Villa/Wolves at home on the same day goes to cock for the rest of the season.

I hope we have lifted the title before our inevitable defeat on the last day at Old Trafford. I just don’t need the stress.

If you're away first game you should be at home last game. How difficult can that be to arrange?

Very.

They've managed it plenty of times. Absolute piece of piss.

Nobody can tell me the fixtures aren't a stitch-up. Away at Old Trafford on the last day? Come on, imagine the execs at Sky wanking themselves silly over a final day crunch match between a team nobody cares about and a team that's nowhere near as good as they used to be. They've done us again.

I remember that we got pasted 5-0 at the arse and they were then opening their shit stadium the following season so they somehow contrived to get Villa at home for their first ever League match. Some Arse cack-faced twit must have influenced that. One Melberg header later - ha!

Dave’s posted on bbc.

Aston Villa are away in their first game, last game and on Boxing Day again. Seems to have become an annual thing.

West Ham (a) first game. Man U (a) last game.

Lucky guess?

No. I’m your brand new super ITK.

it was on twitter at about 8.15

Oh no! Busted!

Actually. I could point out that my post was before 8am. And continue to pretend I’m ITK. Rather than just reading Twitter.

Might do that instead.

Not true. We have 4 home and 4 away games. Before and after all CL group games.
