We made the same change at least once last season in the Europa Conf. League (LOSC) as there is a ban on gambling and, I think, booze brands in France.

I believe the club raffled the shirts used and donated the money to Acorns, proving they can get things right off the pitch, sometimes.

I’m personally happy to have Acorns too, but in these PSR dominated days I would have thought a lot of extra income could be generated from a shirt sponsor getting Champions League coverage.

Betano donated that space to us and we donated it to Acorns

Pretty sure the ones worn last season in the ECL (Ajax as well as LOSC?) were raffled with the money going to Acorns - something like £20 a ticket. Hopefully, they will do the same again - better than an auction, IMO.
