West Ham are probably the only team we really really need an away kit to play against. We'd get away with the home one against most others.

Not really, pretty much all teams who play in red are a clash too.

For TV maybe, but I reckon we'd get away with it as far as the players are concerned.

I remember Arsenal wore their home kit at Villa Park in the 90s at least once

It’s down to the ref, isn’t it? If the ref thinks there is a clash on a piece of kit, you have to change it.

Some of this season's shirt numbers look very silly e.g. the 4s and 7s.

Sneak peak at the new club shop under construction. Looks quite spacious.

Edit: I see this is also in the Villa Park Redevelopment thread

Looks like a 1980s Moscow department store, is there a queue outside?

I think you are right about that. I seem to remember them in red at VP. Maybe the game when Wright scored a hat-trick before he missed the CWC final?

Maybe west ham can reciprocate the time when they only brought a home kit to VP and we agreed to play in our away kit

Not sure of the location of this one....

Not even a change of shorts!

Edit - another one, although the white on their sleeves makes it less clashy

Edit - and again...

I'd imagine commercialism has a lot to do with how often teams wear away kits, but to be fair, I'd be annoyed if I bought one and we only wore it once a season.

Well the first pic is 95/96 Season at Villa. Could be League or League Cup Semi.
