They are probably making an away kit launch video featuring Prince William, Tom Hanks, and Mrs Doyle.

I think with Adidas and Heck, we will see an earlier launch next season, and certainly something in the shops for June.

They'll already be working on it.

Fair enough if so. Getting their schedules to align must be murder.

I'd assume, given the time squeeze, there was an option to go with very generic templates and maybe get stuff out a bit quicker. I'd like to think they made the decision to have the delay in order to get some really good kit out that will reflect the levels of ambition and what not that we now have.

That'd be amazing.  Green, white and orange 1994-inspired away kit, with the launch video with God, Mrs Doyle, and Brendan Gleeson in :)

Speaking of Mrs Doyle, Michael Redmond (Father Stone, the boring priest) has just started following me on Twitter. I was very excited.

It’s only a missed opportunity if it’s an opportunity that’s actually been missed. I don’t think Heck or anyone in his commercial team are happy the list aren’t launched or are actively delaying the announcement. I posted an excellent podcast a couple of weeks back with a guy that worked at Adidas who gave a great explanation as to just what it takes to launch a kit. The design and agreement timeframe, pecking order, materials, other competitions, number of factories, supply chain and logistics all impact how fast they are made and delivered across the world.

Entertaining Father Stone - The first episode of Father Ted I ever watched, on a black and white portable telly, in my girlfriends gaff in the middle of Salford University Halls at Castle Irwell. Think it was 1994? Absolutely pissed myself laughing, the hospital scene with his mum and dad was comedy gold. Ah, happy days....

God forgive me for saying this but wouldn't it have been better if he'd been killed!

God is an imaginary concept that helps one try to understand one's existence. But more importantly, that should have been a question mark after 'killed'.

I copied and pasted from a Father Ted quotes page, sir 🙂
