I'm absolutely sure Hecky wouldn't have done this if it weren't for FFP.

Surely that statement should also be used to promote the sale of still available GA+ tickets, albeit to the great unwashed?

First time as a member I haven't managed to get a ticket. Clearly IT issues as queues were a lottery, some moving, some not. The number of people in front of me went up at one stage. Lots of demand at the high prices but it is Bayern at the end of the day and a novelty being in the CL. We had 47000 for Juventus in 1983 when our average attendance that season was 21000. It seems to be the Villa way.

Yep, the queue I was placed in at 9:30 didn't move at all. I then opened a new tab and was placed in a much higher position in the queue 10 minutes later. I got the 'it's your turn' message on that one but it just took me back to the tickets page and the queue. When I eventually got in another 15 minutes later, there was chuff all left other than the GA tickets which you seemingly can't select anyway. Can't believe some people are saying it worked perfectly - clearly a lottery as you said!

Yadda, yadda.

He can still fuck off, I know he has a job to do etc etc but his behaviour towards the fans since his appointment has been disingenuous, disrespectful and pig ignorant.

And despite this he knows people like me will still spend, not because of him but because it's Aston Villa.

They've supposedly increased the capacity but as we don't sell out and don't seem to like announcing some attendances it's hard to know what capacity actually is now.

No it’s actually increased the capacity, only slightly but still a small increase. That said as Mr Heck seems somewhat shy about announcing attendances it’s difficult to ascertain quite what’s happening.
