I am in Trinity Road middle tier and just got this email; enlarged press box needed?...🤔

As we approach the draw for the Last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, we are writing to inform you of some unavoidable changes to your seating block.

The rules relating to the latter stages of the competition require us to allocate additional space for an enlarged press box. The only available solution is to use some seats in your block and on that basis your normal seat is unavailable for this game.

We will be running our UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme on Saturday and going on sale to all current Season Ticket Holders from Monday. As you will not be able to purchase your seat, you will be able to relocate to any available seat that is suitable either online or by calling the ticket office on 0333 323 1874. There will also be a small window before we go on sale to AVFC members where you will be able to purchase your seat in any seats that haven’t been claimed by other Season Ticket Holders.

We are sorry for this unavoidable situation and hope that you find a suitable seat for the match

Great to have progressed this far with realistic hopes of going further. I think when this started most of us were thinking finish 24th or higher. Have Man City fans started calling it the Chumps league yet ?

I love how opposition fans (ipswich did it on sat) sing

"Champions League, you're having a laugh"

Having not experienced nights like that before, i know that every single one of them would give their teeth to be in it and have games like we have had.

That first one against Bayern will go down in folk lore

Couple of days ago some were saying that Brugges would be like a bye into the next round. We draw them and some of us are suddenly talking them up. Life as a football fan.
People saying it was a bye have very short memories.
I said that and I stand by it. They have had tremendous amount of luck in matches so far and  only just managed to scrape into knock out stage in 24th place. We wont sleepwalk against them again.

Now we've qualified for / are playing in the CL, I find that particular chant as the most absurdly shite one possible.  And there is a VERY obvious response to a team like Ipswich.

Any info on tickets prices for Brugge at home? Hope they keep it sensible

I can't see any reason why it would be less then the group games. Then Heck's percentage on top to be added.
Was thinking it would go up a bit tbh, just over £100 ??

I went to see Betis v Gent last night. Granted it was Conference but only 20 Euro a ticket, anywhere in the ground.

I expect we will know by 5ish. I expect the first one might be 17:45 Tuesday (which will be Villa's preference) and then Wednesday 8pm.

Everyone seems to think Barcelona have an easy route to the final.  I reckon Lille with give them a kicking in the next round.

I dont even think lille will beat dortmund tbh
