Well that was good to watch, played some good football and we look much better than then last two games. Horror show at the back, but we're still in this game.

Diabys miss aside he's playing very well. As is McGinn, Bailey and Watkins.

We gift too many goals and I suspect we’ll concede two more, but definitely more threatening going forward. Agree on Diaby, I think some are just desperate to find fault.

Yeah only almost lead to a liverpool 3rd goal where they countered and if it wasnt for a a poor pass from the liverpool player it would ahve been 3-1 and good night.

Hope that clears it up for you

It clears up a lot of things, mostly that you haven't got a fucking clue, it was a bad pass, not a suicide one. Anyway, you probably need to go and call everything in your house a dsgrace to get ready for the 2nd half.

Come on Paul, give Demitri a break, he's the man who developed the concept of suicide spelling.

I think we aint that bad, better than recently but still some same mistakes as before, like not being ready stand up to opposition press from start like first goal and Diaby being Diaby (though showing signs of betterness). Our goal really good from Watkins, but we still need to many changes to score Diaby and Bailey with all their trickiness not being affective enough. Pool not easy to play agianst today , they give it all it seems.

When are they ever easy to play against, the 7-2 aside?

Never, so it’s frustrating to play well but then gift them two and miss an open goal.

Look dangerous going forward but awful at the back.

I'm trying not to scapegoat Diaby but his lack of composure and quality in the final third is making that incredibly difficult
is  that the Diaby with 18 goal contributions being shit. God knows what he will do when he isnt shit

Better team. Some stupid misses up front.

Defence worries me, but the attack is fluid.

Come on Villa - one last good half.

I think we were the better side - but gifted goals and missed easy chances.

I think any luck we had has completely deserted us - we need some luck from somewhere and to stop shooting ourselves in the fucking foot.

Defensively - we have real problems - we are so easy to score against.

Carlos miss is criminal and Diaby not much better

Still all to play for

Can definitely see us scoring again but can't see how they won't get at least 1 more too

I can't see Diaby being replaced. He's had chances, he just needs to take one. As a team, they need to move the ball quicker. I don't know how many times we've coughed up possession, and then be scythed through by them.

Bailey's been excellent. You feel like something's going to happen with him on the ball. Was a perfect pass across the goal and how Carlos gets it so wrong from practically the goalline I can't quite comprehend.

Diaby is so frustrating, getting in to positions and making good runs and then making piss poor decisions when he gets there. That fucking backheel was dreadful
