With Diaby it like playing with 10 men. Abysmal

It’s not just him.

Respect where it is due, they’ve defended brilliantly.  Won pretty much every header and blocked numerous crosses. Tactically smart with their pressing, yet without over committing.

I'm surprised we're playing the added time. AIUI the losing team can opt not to in a knockout game

It’s not just him.

Certainly. He was no worse than quite a few of them on the pitch over the two legs.

Astros @ Yankees up next, whatever the fuck that means, but whatever it is, it can't be more frustrating than this.

Not only have we a massive injury list we’ve got Bailey and Torres being nursed through games.
How this squad are sitting in 4th is a miracle, they’ve all worked their balls off all season and now we’ve hit a wall.
Thankfully we’ve got an extra day off until the next game but I’ll be giving them all a standing ovation no matter what the result.
I won’t be calling players out or abusing them because they’ve done this club proud and now they need us to try and push them over the line.

Yes it’s boring. There are countless dreadful performances out there tonight.

Diaby is particularly disappointing, you'd say, given the outlay and everything. But it's just the injuries at this time of year that's killing us really. You can't play well if you can't move.

Teams have been killing us in midfield more and more lately. Could really do with some actual wingers, I think.
