I think Chelsea will beat us. Not for any logical reason. Just because being a Villa fan means I have a pathological aversion to optimism. ON the bright side you can get 10-1 on the double, Chelsea to win and Spurs to win. Get a tenner on it.

If you study every post on any H&V pre-match thread you will find that every opponent after a heavy defeat will be dangerous/wounded/up for it/difficult/have a point to prove/always do well against us/or any host of reasons for why we could well fail.  It's just the way it is.

Scummy Chelski lost 5-0 to The Arse. I expect nothing less than a 7-0 win and then Spurzzz to shit the bed against The Arse and lose maybe 3-0. That should wrap up 4th place.

Arsenal looked good last night which is great, carry that into the weekend and keep Citeh at it until the final week. Mind you, seeing that table showing time between games I can see part-time Spurs blowing up having to play twice a week and it getting sorted before then, which would be nice.

As much as Woolwich played well, things went their way, if Chelsea's first half chance had gone the other side of the post things may have been different. It's their ability to cope with setbacks that worries me on Sunday. They were just a big bunch of sulky teenagers when we stood up to them.

Yeah, but that's because they all know deep down they fucked up with our manager and keeper and resistance is futile.

They hate Spurs, and Spurs are Spurs and not in any way a similar proposition to the mighty Aston Villa.

I do like a counterfactual as much as the next man, but Arsenal tore Chelsea a new one. Odegaard was unplayable. Rice was majestic, Even Havertz looked like a proper player. Chelsea were very, very poor. I don't think a goal would have changed that.

I hope we beat these 8-0 - i cannot stand Chelsea

Knowing us that Jackson who cannot hit a barn door, will probably have the game of his Chelsea career and score a hat-trick.

Well, we beat Arsenal 2-0 and they beat Chelsea 5-0 so we should be able to expect 7-0.

Win this and it is done

Most likely. It would take a monumental cock up thereafter to lose out.

Or a superhuman effort from the biggest bottlers in the league

If we lost every game from now till end of season - not a single point
They would need to win at at the very least 5 and draw one with over turning a 5 goal GD to get to our current 66 points

Thats beating in order 5 of Arsenal, Chelsea, P.Lop, Burnley and Man city rounding off with a Sheff utd

Completely in our hands - beat Chelsea and we have 69 points and they cannot catch us with 3 games to spare

Erm this is wrong surely.......

Was he talking about Spurs, ManUre or Chelsea?!

Well we need to start well this time unlike the cup game

They still create a lot of chances though they concede a lot.

I can see them pipping us 2.3
