He’s thrown this as he knows only fourth makes CL.

The team he picked didn’t suggest he’s thrown anything. It’s just a really terrible performance from the players he’s picked to a professional job.

He definitely hasn't thrown it. That probably makes it worse tbh.

These are the kinds of displays and levels of inconsistency that end up pushing certain players out of clubs. As we aspire to greater things we can’t afford this kind of drop off in performance.

Yeah, but which of those players do we think aren't good enough for us?

Cash. Then who? These are all decent players.

Even if we score 1 goal now, it’s extra minutes we don’t need at the time of season where we need to win as many of our remaining games as possible.

It’s a right fuck up party.

Easy with hindsight, but it felt like we should have changed things on the hour, a bit earlier than we did.

I think Emery got it wrong against Spurs, but I don't think we're doing anything wildly different to how we normally do, tactically. The players have looked absolutely not interested tonight. Awful performances all across the pitch

A terrible performance that deserves nothing.

I'd rather have the extra minutes than things stay as the are

Fucking dog shit of a performance so far. We're going out. Lack of composure all over the pitch. Negative. Can't tie their own shoe laces. Really, prime Villa shit today.

The better side over both legs is going through.  They've simply wanted it more

At least we won't have the excuse of being tired against Bournemouth. We haven't got above a snails pace all game
