Shoulder to shoulder on greasy but a foul is given and a yellow? The same against Konsa in the box but no pen given.

What a twat this referee is.

That Chambers shoulder barge was exactly the same as Dan Burn’s at the weekend in the Newcastle box which was ‘fair’. I just don’t know any more.

Never a 4-1.

That wank wall and Chambers trying to dribble out of defence were the difference between a narrow defeat and what will look like a tonking to the casual observer.

We’ve thrown this game.
Did you think that at 1-1?

Not necessarily. And I’m not altogether sure it was the wrong thing to do anyway. Was it 3-1 when I posted?

If we miss out on top4/Champions League on goal difference Unai might regret this line up.

On what basis, we have no idea what options he had with important games coming fast…honestly get real, 4th in April?!! We want more but come on Unai Emery has been brilliant

And I can’t post what ManC are.

There will be a time when they are somewhat less than now. Unai Emery will ensure that happens. It comes to them all.

Well played, our Villa lads!!

Decent until the 3rd city goal. Their goal keeper had made two very good saves just before the 3rd and we looked very dangerous on the break...

Expected a loss was hoping it wouldnt be heavy but we failed on that.

Just need to ensure we beat brentford now. We were never winning tonight with that team out

If there’s a bug going round and with the injuries and McGinn’s  suspension we’ve got then what more can be expected from a depleted squad?
I know the national press won’t say anything about it but it’s a fact. Sometimes coaches have to make very tough decisions and Emery has done that tonight. It’s all about 38 games and he knows where we are with the state of the squad.
To get us to where we are with the injuries we’ve had has been unbelievable. With our full squad this game would’ve been a proper contest and that’s what’s called improvement.
A big plus point has been Rogers, he looked decent on Saturday and has carried that on tonight, he looks a very good prospect.
We’ll be back on it on Saturday.

When the 3rd went in that was enough for me , took the dog a walk. We allowed them too much possession, nobody dealt with Rodri all game and therefore the end result was inevitable. Win Saturday and all is forgiven.

Yep. I have already had some moron tell me that Villa don't deserve 4th if we can get tonked by ManC 4-1.

He admits to only watching us twice, the other being Liverpool, but it shows the level of attention span & intelligence of the modern day fan.

Once I explained to him how many first teamers were missing, he simply replied that Luton gave them a decent game so why couldn't we be organised like they were?

I again mentioned the 9 missing players & asked how much organisation can we get when there are 9 first teamers missing, so any organisation training would be more focused on the 9 first team players missing, as opposed to having three days training with half of their replacements.

Added to the fact that any squad building that we can do to counter the massive amount of missing players is stopped by that FFP/PSR farce.

He just looked at me with a confused blank face like I had just been discussing quantum mechanics with him & added that he will have to watch more of us in the future.

Its not like he hasn't had three quarters of a season already.

Fuckwit.
