I think Zaniolo has been decent apart from the free kick. I wouldnt take him off, Id send him out there knowing he owes us one.

One mistake by Zaniolo, and everyone's on his back again 😡. Great fans, eh?

It’s just the game.

Not really a mistake. He chickened out of blocking the free kick. That’s a choice.

Yuri for Dougie and Bailey for Zaniolo. Grealish to get a booking and walk.

Zaniolo can't tackle, time a pass or beat a man...how is saying he's a waste of oxygen unfair?  That's without his diving away from a freekick being even taken into account.  Thought Rogers has looked decent in comparison.  Bailey for Zaniolo at halftime, please.

We haven't got anyone who can play the 'Ramsey' role well.in his absence.

Zaniolo proving he isn't worth the oxygen he is stealing.

A bit harsh that. I think he's played well.

Still think we can get something out of this.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Grealish replaced at or soon after half time.

We are in a timeline where a largely second string villa team can go to the Emptyhad and compete, feeling aggrieved to be behind.

Things aren't that bad!

Zaniolo clearly at fault for the goal, but it was a needless free kick given away by Doug, there was also another one earlier he made, which fortunately went over the bar. I love the bloke, he's had a great season, but more than any other player this season, he given free kicks away on the edge of our box.
