Mcginn and luiz are pretty good at going up in arms at some tackles.

Luiz made some decent tactical fouls in the game. Killed a few of their counters.

Good to see some of the '94 team and of course the legend Juan Pablo.

I never really thought of him as a looker as a player, but Christ, he's matured into quite the handsome beast.

He had quite a daft long hair/hairband thing going on when he was with us. You'll never get on the Ealing Handsome Train with that kind of caper.

My wife who pays little or no attention to football was watching and made the same observation.

You weren’t a fan of the full Mario Kempes then

Au contraire! Kempes was wild and dashing. Those shitty thin hairbands can do one.

He was the king of the flowing locks as he went through on goal
Winning the World Cup didn’t do him any harm either

What happened around the 75mins mark , we had a corner but play seemed to be stopped for an age, there was no VAR called & just couldn't work out what was going on ?

One of the linesmen had a problem with his earpiece and it had to be replaced.

It was a pause to allow the entire ground to discuss at volume how our neighbours get battered. It was unanimously agreed that they get battered not just at home, but indeed everywhere else they may go. It was so loud the linesman lost his mic and had to be re-wired.

...and there was the respectful pause so Diaby could eat after the sun went down as it is Ramadan. That's new and I would assume much appreciated by the players.
