Ironically Chukwemeka would be good in the 10 role. I like Madueke as well, but Illing Jnr fills that role surely.

There was some paper talk that Palace were looking to buy Chukwuemeka.

I think Felix liked Chelsea, they liked him but Pochettino was the one who didn't' want him so they got rid. Maybe he sees it as unfinished business. They have pedigree obviously, regardless of the Conference League football on offer this season, and they are in London, which is, unfortunately a draw too.

Anyway, if he doesn't want to come, then we move on.

I just don’t get how players who sign for them are all going to get to play. They have about 50 players on the books. It’s crazy. And as a new player signing there what are they expecting in terms of playing time or any level of professional development? And given they will likely change manager again this season, no guarantee of European competition where is the ambition?

Edit: they are in the Conference. I meant CL.

What I don't get with Chelsea is how there isn't anything the FA/League are willing to do about it. Right now they have about 15 players who won't be eligible to play for them, surely there has to be a point where they're stopped from registering new players until they start to clean up the mess.

It's utter madness. Can only think they have a few on the way out. Madueke and Chukwemeka both linked with Palace, but they need to shift about 10 players.

I hope Felix has an utterly miserable season there.

Selling hotels to themselves and also selling more players for decent fees than you'd think.

I hope they drop players the fans love, piss off most of the players so they go on strike, sell the wrong ones and generally have a really shit time.

Then get the book thrown at them, though I suspect they are banking on a one-off deduction/whatever and that they can rise again. They had a ban for a while before, seems like the new American owner is no better than the Russian one.

No idea although Wiki suggests that his contract is up next year so maybe he wouldn’t cost as much as some think.

They need the hotels conference rooms to hold a team talk

If Madueke is available we should be all over it. Chukwuemeka... not so much.

There was a picture on twitter last week of their squad with Neto, and it was utterly rediculous then. Add Felix in and it just gets worse. Must be 8-10 good players with no hope of playing at all this season.

Back to Villa, Percy reported that we would let Diaby go if we found a replacement. We haven't as yet but he's gone. So surely the money is there to buy one, we just need to find the right player.

If they can sell £100m of Academy players each summer than they'll be fine spending whatever they want to. It's the first summer that they can't do that that the wheels fall off.
