Why do Chambers and Diaby threads remain ?
Yet Douglas Luiz thread who was here longer does not remain on main service board.
There needs to be a protocols time frame for when a player thread gets moved.

Mate have you got nothing else to think about? Nothing else bigger in your life to worry you ffs.

Just go out for a walk for a bit

We should just rename the site seen as he thinks he clowns the place!

Big shoes to fill when he’s gone. Small car though.

It’s no laughing matter.

Stop the name calling and the above. I merely seek engagement and like to promote discussions and seek clarifications. Excuse me!

None of us know what or how to discuss things when the AI farm reaches end of term. I for one am grateful for your presence.

Let's get back to the widespread speculation of transfers!
With Chelsea ‘In Talks’ Over Potential Swap Signing of Osimhen- Lukaku can't We look to swoop in and offer Duran and a little money. Having a Watkins Osimhen strike duo and choice would be great!

I love this club and in my head we are massive but Osimhen wouldn't look at us twice.

It struck me earlier that, despite Luiz leaving which was a bit of a shame, this is the first season for a while that we haven't been endlessly trolled in the media about our star players leaving.  It all comes from qualifying for the CL and having brilliant manager who is obviously in this for the duration.  Had we missed out, say even by a point, we would've had much more rumour-mongering about Emery, Watkins and Martinez leaving.  Instead, we've sold two good players without really worrying too much about it, and look to be on the brink of signing better ones.  It's really quite refreshing.

Yeah, when a team has done well and getting into europe, everyone waits for either FFP to screw them or for the big teams to take their best players.

We’re disappointing them all.

It's normally Spurs fans doing this kind of baiting. Boots on the other foot now though. That there Daniel Levy better brace himself for when we open our warchest...except he can relax cos they're all shite.

The local media tried a bit.

Especially when Watkins scored that goal for England.

But overall, you are right, its been a bit more respectful.

There were absurd stories about Watkins going to Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and then Ramsey going to Spurs, but they are the ones who are playing catch-up, and the domestic football fraternity and MSM need to get used to Villa being here to stay, especially during Emery's reign. A couple of high-profile acquisitions will put a stop to the uninformed dismissal of Villa's growing strength! Nonetheless, it is clear that we are now part of the top echelons, regardless of how much it's wished to downplay us even by some of our own. The term "top" or "big 8" is now used to describe something that cannot see Villa overlooked.

I love that! It will be proposed that Villa are not contenders for the top four this season or league challengers citing Newcastle's failure last season due to Champions League distraction, when in fact Emery knows exactly how to deal with the situation and, come season's start or end of transfer window, we'll have an almighty great squad to challenge.

I believe we will be domestic league and cup contenders, as well as surprise some in the Champions League, if we recruit a couple of high-caliber players - We may even win a double, but let me not  get to ahead of myself! Exciting times ahead not in doubt! And I for one cannot wait to see who is coming after Diaby and Duran replaced, we will match or exceed last season's performance.

Up the Villa!

I think we’re still a bit off challenging in the cups, simply because they’ve made it clear that league then europe is the priority.

If we manage to get through the early rounds, we could get a sniff, but I don’t see that we are strong enough to go for it from the off.

Looks like Barca are struggling to get Nico Williams and are looking at Danny Olmo.

That being the case could they afford both Dani Olmo and João Félix?
