In the spirit of trying to contain future FFP pressures I’d be happy to use Morgan/Dobbin as alternatives to Watkins.
They’re going to need game time somewhere other than their current AML position too.

If he continues his trajectory from last season, then I think Rogers could well be the starting 'number 10' at the start of the next one.

We don’t currently play a number 10 do we?

Depends what you think a number 10 is. We don't play a Riquelme type, but we have a second-striker role in the team.

So the Diaby/Bailey role?

More Diaby than Bailey but yes.

We've a bunch of 'keepers haven't we?

Martinez
Olsen
Gauci
Sinisalo
Emery
Marschall
Wright
Proctor

I'd have thought that should be sufficient, and Olsen looked better in his more recent opportunities, though it's still a big drop off from our Number One.

Oliwier Zych as well

Some reports that we've bid £30m for Man City's Yan Couto who was on loan to Girona last season. He's a 22 year-old who's with the Brazil squad in the Copa America.

Sounds a bit like a Wolverhampton invite

Spurs have offered 20 plus Lo Celso for JJ. Typical Levy, a day late and 25m dollars short.

What a little scamp Levy is - straight out of the Doug Ellis play book.

1. Get Spurs mentioned (as no one has yet this window)
2. Offer a ridiculously low sum for a very good player
3. Get turned down but quote it shows their ambition
4. Move onto the next one

£20mil + lo Celso - did he only want one of Ramsey's legs?

It's like Monchi has been watching me play Football Manager for the last few years, splendid stuff.
