What details do you have that he'd have changed his mind? It didn't matter last summer that they wanted him, why would it matter now?

He's right, though, the devil is in the detail. It's just all the details fly straight past Tim.

If there was interest in Diaby from over there and selling him meant we could bring in an absolute top drawer 'number 10' type player, then it would be worth consideration I suppose.  They would have to be absolutely top drawer though.

That said, Diaby was billed as that type and signing him was viewed as a real coup.

Wherever the money comes from (ideally from Luiz, Tim, Bogarde, Kellyman, Duran, Olsen, Carlos, Cash and Dendonker), I want that right-back from Fiorientina, a beast of a right-sided centre-back to cure our set-piece problem, a class DCM, maybe on loan until Kamara is fit and Enzo is up to speed, and an understudy/partner for Ollie, maybe the kid from Hoffenheim.

The Ramsey bid from Spurs was made many weeks ago and was turned down immediately.

I had assumed that, but where’s that been confirmed?

Bored at ‘work’, so I knocked up a 25-man squad.

Martinez
New GK
Gauci

Kosta
Kayode

Digne/Moreno
Maatsen

Torres
Mings
Konsa
New CB

Tielemans
Barkley
Enzo
McGinn
Kamara
New CDM

Rogers
Ramsey
Iling-Junior
Buendia
Bailey
Diaby

Watkins
New striker

Out:

Olsen
Lenglet ✅
Cash
Zaniolo ✅
Carlos
Dendonker
Duran
Coutinho
Tim ✅
Luiz ✅
Bogarde
Archer
Moreno/Digne
Chambers

Duran I’m 50/50 on, as I think he could be great or a nightmare like SJM said.

Oh yeah forgot about him. Where did I put that Ramsey bid?

Out on loan maybe?

In the spirit of trying to contain future FFP pressures I’d be happy to use Morgan/Dobbin as alternatives to Watkins.
They’re going to need game time somewhere other than their current AML position too.

If he continues his trajectory from last season, then I think Rogers could well be the starting 'number 10' at the start of the next one.

Yes it was but wasn't that just a typical Levy opportunism? £20M + Celso, deluded ******.

He's the modern Doug Ellis. He's happy enough that Spurs are there or there abouts, if they can sneak a cup then great, but he's not going to pay for it.

Spend enough to keep you roughly where you are and not a penny more, sack the manager when it doesn't work, and be happy that your stadium is bigger than your local rivals.

It's the kind of bid they are famous for - another reason to despise them I suppose.

I’d quite like to see Sinisalo given a proper run at being number 2 keeper

We've a bunch of 'keepers haven't we?

Martinez
Olsen
Gauci
Sinisalo
Emery
Marschall
Wright
Proctor

I'd have thought that should be sufficient, and Olsen looked better in his more recent opportunities, though it's still a big drop off from our Number One.
