Predict there will be loads of ‘got to sell by end of June’ articles in press now….precedent for ignoring that is the 4 points Forest got.  Unless a deal to get it within the 105m suits us 100% then just take the 4pts and get the lawyers lined up if they try to take anymore.

It feels like there's too much noise for him not to be.

I'm no expert on FFP, or whatever they call it this week, but this apparent 'one size fits all' approach seems to take no account of the fact that every club's situation is different. Clubs like us and Newcastle for example appear to be held back by rules that clubs such as Brentford or Bournemouth for example are never going to be concerned with as they operate on much lower budgets. How can you try to improve if you are in the absurd situation where you are constantly forced to sell your best and brightest. UEFA rules seem to be even worse where those who qualify every year get the most cash, thereby strengthening their stranglehold

Marco Reus? Always thought he was a cultured, classy player. Out of contract, he's 34 and being linked to the MLS.

Some crooner/joker (?) called Dean Martin on H&V's Facebook has linked us. Probably bullshit but instead of Zaniolo/while Buendia gets back up to speed, I'd love him in. Incredible Champions League experience too.

I’d like to think the way we’ve been run since the owners took over would keep us away from any financial issues. I am confident we’ll be ok based on this but some questions should be asked if the reports are true.

Might explain Luiz's poor form last couple of months of the season.

Jack Grealish, Harry Maguire and James Maddison left out of England squad for Euro 2024 by Gareth Southgate

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13148911/jack-grealish-left-out-of-england-squad-for-euro-2024-by-gareth-southgate

What he has become from what he was.............time to come home Jack (£35m max)

The Villa Podcast have a great snippet they play where Gary Neville genuinely suggests that Southgate losing Harry Maguire before a (past) competition was a bigger problem than losing Harry Kane, and in which Rafael Van Der Vaart repeatedly says Maguire is shit.

Doug’s off isn’t he.

That’s gutting, but it feels this way.

If he leaves I hope he leaves the country. Seeing him play for Arsenal or the likes would be horrible.

Didn’t know anything about poster so could be bullshit.
Apparently he had a chat with Unai and he changed his mind about going to MLS.
1 year deal.

He turned 35 last Friday. Anyone followed Dortmund enough to know whether he could still do a job for us?
