Kamara is definitely the key. Any half decent midfielder should look great playing next to him

I think Kamara and Gallagher would be a very good midfield indeed.

Given the reaction on here was pretty lukewarm when it was suggested, it's interesting that Chelsea fans seem dead against him leaving.

Wonder if he's one of those who is much better when you see him every week.

I’d be really gutted to lose Dougie. In a way, more so than Jack. He’s been such a joy to watch develop and probably done more in his time here consistently for us. At one point last season he was playing so well I had him up there with Sid and Mortimer.

Sorry to be a pedant here  but can we stop saying that money in for one player gives PSR room to buy several. It does, but only if you dont mind not buying anyone else next year and the year after that. If we get, say, £60m for Luiz we could, in theory spend £240m on players with 4 year contracts at £60m per year. But where do we get next year's £60m from and the one after that? It is no different from buying on a credit card. Seems good when you are in Currys carting off a 72inch telly, not so good when you are still paying for it in a couple of years and the latest model is better than yours.

Yeah, you’d be in trouble if your income stays the same, and you couldn’t do the same next year with one of many pure profit assets, like we can.

But what about if your income nearly doubles, like ours will have?

No need to apologise about being a pedant. You’re not. You’re just not quite getting it.

I like Gallagher. I think he would give us far more energy in midfield. Another in the mould of SJM. Yes please.

Yeah he’s basically McGinn, 6 years younger. Would be a cracking signing and our midfield depth would be incredible if we add him and Barkley.

He's not really in the mould of McGinn. More like a better version of that kid who went to Rangers from Norwich (another one we were linked with back when).

Think it's just because they look a bit similar and have longish, blonde hair.

If we get McKennie does he become the Kamala backup?  I don’t know much about him.

He isn't old enough for president even if Biden and Kamala get taken out.

It’s obvious, all these tall people with long blond hair are exactly the same.
